The Opportunity The ILI Project Manager will report to the Manager of the USGO ILI Project Management.
This role will provide overall coordination and planning to facilitate implementation of In-line Inspection (ILI), smart pigging, maintenance pigging and chemical cleaning programs. Extensive communication and coordination with Regional Operations, Gas Control, Pipe Integrity, Operations Planning, Commercial Operations and Engineering will be critical to be successful for this position.
What you'll do Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead and participate in the planning and execution of the ILI program and coordination of field activities;
Liaison with Regional Operations, Gas Control, Pipe Integrity, Operations Planning, Commercial Operations, MPM's, Land, Engineering Departments and other Stakeholders as required
Coordinate and direct the work of external consultants and contractors
Create and review project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resources requirements, permit applications
Provide required documentation per vendor request
Undertakes technical analyses to prepare recommendations for action
Preliminary facility inspections to support program design and implementation (e.g: launcher/receiver installations, project scoping)
Field co-ordination and support as required
Assist procedure development and contingency plan development
Properly forecast schedule and project spending.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a Technical Diploma in a related field
Minimum 6+ years of related experience
A combination of experience and education will also be considered
Proven Pipeline Pigging, Operations and/or Pipeline design and construction experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Gas handling and survey experience as well as a solid level of computer literacy
Safety skills and attitude
Project coordination and leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities
This position requires candidates to:
Position to be based in Charleston, WV, Houston, TX; Others could be considered
Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
Possess, or be eligible to receive, a valid passport and maintain travel eligibility for Domestic, Cross Border, and International Travel (including the USA and Mexico)
