West Virginia Employer Administrative Assistant-Staffing - Temporary in Charleston, West Virginia

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the West Virginia Department of Homeland Security with Disaster Recovery. The primary location is Charleston. The requested services will be for work in the counties of Boone, Calhoun, Clay, Harrison, and/or Kanawha. Travel to other areas within West Virginia may be required, upon request. Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant will work under the supervision of the Disaster Case Supervisor. The position requires providing administrative support to the Disaster. Recovery Team in the following: *Attending meetings with community members and partner agencies, while maintaining notes and reporting the outcomes to Supervisor. *Supporting the Disaster Recovery team with other various administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: *An Associates degree in a related field. *A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative support role. *Specific knowledge of FEMAs Disaster Case Management framework. *Knowledge of 2 CFR 200, 44 CFR, and the Stafford Act. *Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. *Must have technical skills in analysis, business accounting principles, and knowledge of construction methodologies. *Must be able to clear a criminal background check. *Must be able to pass a drug test. Job Type: Temporary. Competitive Salary. Expected hours: 40 per week. Schedule: *8 hour shift. *Day shift. *Monday to Friday.
