Job Overview

The incumbent provides delivery of packages to various departments inside the company, unloads incoming raw materials, prepares material for shipment and loads outbound shipments. responsible for directing day to day operation of warehouse .

Responsibilities

Unload incoming raw materials and assign raw material numbers.

Pull material, stage and prepare for shipment and load trucks.

Coordination of materials within the warehouse according to material status.

Receipting of materials into the computer system.

Responsible for prioritizing warehouse workload.

Responsible for assigning daily workload for warehouse personnel.

Assist with writing SOP’s relating to Warehouse area.

Oversees the data entry of all receipts of Raw Materials . Responsible for verifying accuracy of entries.

Responsible for inspection and sampling of incoming non-bulk raw materials following SOP.

Responsible for applying status tags appropriately to raw materials and finished goods

  • Responsible for safe and proper handling of controlled substances, including record keeping, storage, and manufacturing. Assist with coverage in absence of Quality Control Inspector Adhere to proper warehousing regulations as directed by the EPA, FDA, DEA and cGMP.

  • Adhere to EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA and cGMP regulations as they relate to the operation of the chemical production facility and transportation of goods.

  • Follow all company safety rules and procedures.

  • Responsible for completing waste manifests; coordinating scheduling waste loads for disposal; staging, labeling and loading of waste wranglers and drums; and general trafficking of waste product.

  • Responsible for receiving, packaging and shipping of all UPS and Federal Express packages for all departments.

  • Responsible for verifying correct labels on finished goods prior to shipment to customers.

  • Responsible for reporting for work regularly and promptly.

Qualifications/Skills

Attention to Detail:

Ability to accurately process shipments and materials, ensuring that all documentation, labeling, and inventory entries are precise and correct.

Organizational Skills:

Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

Communication Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with various departments, vendors, and team members, ensuring smooth operations.

Problem-Solving:

Proactive in identifying issues related to shipments, materials, or warehouse operations, and capable of resolving them efficiently.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and ability to perform data entry and material receipting accurately.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements

High School Education or equivalent

Forkl Lift experience preferred
