Job Summary

As a Class A CDL Truck Driver with Cleaver Farm & Home, you will play a crucial role in our logistics

operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to designated

locations while enjoying the benefit of being home most nights. Our ideal candidate is a reliable and skilled

driver with a commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods to various

locations following all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols.

Delivery and Pickup: Load, unload, and secure cargo as needed, ensuring it reaches its destination

intact and on time.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, fuel consumption, and other

relevant documentation as required.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on your truck, reporting

any issues promptly to the maintenance department.

Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and fellow

team members to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process.

Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

(PPE) and following safety protocols at all times.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the

transportation industry.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL, and 2 years of experience with a clean driving record.

Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.

Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift and handle heavy objects as necessary.

Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and E-logs

Ability to plan driving routes.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Forklift experience or ability to learn.
