SAIC Systems Engineer in CHANTILLY, Virginia
Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program, a large SETA contract supporting the customer’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). The work will initially focus on requirements management support to enable end-to-end closure for programs with available growth of scope and responsibility, and will be located in Chantilly, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
Interact with Government project management and functional managers to define scope of work for projects, and develop and update detailed schedules and roadmaps.
Use Jira and Confluence to organize, implement and maintain roadmaps and schedules for the various program technical branches.
Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identify any variances, and highlight developing problem areas.
Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
Coordinate project level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes.
Support agile process evolution across Government teams, development contractors, user engagement teams, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related discipline and 0 years of experience.
Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines.
Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments.
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
