SAIC Systems Engineer to Program Management Office in CHANTILLY, Virginia
Description
SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Systems Engineer for Program Management Office to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States Government (USG). SETA contractors provide analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government’s own engineering staff members. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground.
Provide technical supervision for the development of radiation hardened microelectronics and high-performance computing technologies
Provide technical support by monitoring and recommending relevant technical projects
Research and present information on the latest technology trends in microelectronics, fabrication packaging, as well high-performance computing architectures and provide recommendations to inform group strategies
Engage groups across the government space to understand technical needs and derive requirements for future technology roadmaps and programs
Support diverse new electronic device technology developments in many areas, including heterogeneous integration, photonics, etc
Perform systems engineering analyses and develop supporting documentation for microelectronics and high-performance computing programs
Willing to learn the associated tools for tasking, planning, researching and data routing of the microelectronics program
Provide support to the drafting of statements of work and other acquisition documentation
Support source selection processes
Provide analysis of developers’ deliverables to include periodic reports, test reports, and other technical report
Provide support to the administration of projects, to include management, technical, and financial aspects
Document results for distribution across all levels of decision-making authority
Travel may be required <15 % of time
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with poly
Bachelors degree with a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics major and at least 14 years of related experience or 12 with a Masters
Basic knowledge of integrated circuits
Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively
Ability to execute assignments with little supervision
Ability to actively participate in a collaborative team environment
Ability to cultivate internal and external stakeholder relationships
Ability to generate and evaluate technical documents and reports
Ability to work occasional surge support
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
