System Engineer

RCS is seeking aSystem Engineerto assist in piloting synthetic media detection (aka deepfake detection) capabilities in its production environment. Looking for support of this pilot to integrate and evaluate one or more COTS (Commercial-Off-the-Shelf) SaaS (Software-as-a-service) AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning)-based solutions.
This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.
What you will do:
Work closely with select teams and under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer
Support the integration of selected COTS solution into workflows and IT systems
Communicate, document, and coordinate, as necessary, the integration, evaluation, and results reporting of the COTS solution
Assist with the evaluation of the solution to include developing, executing, and reporting on test use cases
Provide forensic multimedia expertise
Interface with existing workflows and workforce and COTS vendor technical points of contacts
Develop the requirements for full potential adoption of detection technology
Required Qualifications/Education:
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
System engineering support of integration, coordination, and documentation of new COTS capabilities into a customer’s environment
Data science support of evaluation of new AI/ML capabilities into a customer’s environment
Supporting and developing systems leveraging cloud services and cloud infrastructure
Conducing forensics of multimedia (images, videos, and audio)
with current deepfake creation and detection methods
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Project management experience
Using MS Teams
Supporting lifecycle processes related to publicly available information collected to address a specific requirement
Environments relating to the collection and processing of publicly available information
