Insight Global Sprinkler Service Technician in Chantilly, Virginia
Job Description
Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, detailing equipment or system malfunctions.
Contact the customer representative to identify and understand the equipment or systems issues.
Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential properties. This includes, but is not limited to, wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
Adhere to troubleshooting procedures and consult technical manuals, parts manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by maintaining consistent communication with district staff and customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain the customers signature.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
Comfortable working in various challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, as well as working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
Committed to adhering to and implementing safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learner.
Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
