CACI is seeking a talented and innovative eLearning Author to join our team. This role is essential in transforming static training materials, technical documentation, test automation scripts, and multimedia (videos and images) into highly engaging, interactive eLearning products. The ideal candidate will use their software tools and graphic design expertise to create visually appealing and compelling learning experiences tailored to the customer's audience

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze static training content, technical documents, test automation scripts, and multimedia assets to design comprehensive eLearning modules.

  • Develop interactive eLearning content utilizing tools including Moodle (with plugins), H5P, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Blender, and Unity.

  • Apply graphic design principles to produce visually engaging learning assets such as animations, illustrations, and interactive elements.

  • Collaborate with system and software engineers, instructional designers, and government subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure eLearning content is accurate, impactful, and aligned with learning objectives.

  • Implement eLearning content into Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring functionality and compatibility.

  • Maintain and update existing eLearning materials to meet evolving training needs.

  • Test eLearning modules rigorously to ensure they meet technical and pedagogical standards.

  • Stay informed on the latest eLearning technologies and methodologies to bring innovation to training programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 3 years of direct or related experience.

  • Proven experience creating eLearning content, instructional design, and multimedia development.

  • Proficiency with development tools, including:

  • Moodle (LMS) with associated plugins

  • H5P

  • Camtasia

  • Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD

  • Blender

  • Unity

  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) design.

  • Familiarity with multimedia production, including video editing, 3D modeling, and animation.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A portfolio showcasing relevant eLearning projects and graphic design work.

  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI and maintain it.

Desired:

  • Experience with gamification, VR/AR, or simulation-based learning in eLearning products.

  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., C#, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

  • Background in working with technical content, engineering documentation, or test automation scripts.

  • Certification in eLearning design, graphic design, or related fields.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$60,100 - $123,300
