Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our MAG Cincinnati U5 machine within our organization. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in preserving the overall safety, efficiency, and condition of our CNC.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance the U5 machine to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and execute necessary repairs or replacements.

  3. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter changes, equipment calibration, and adjustments to ensure peak performance.

  4. Maintain accurate and updated records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and replacements.

  5. Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure the timely completion of maintenance projects and repairs.

  6. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including equipment failures and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  7. Implement and reinforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and comply with regulatory standards.

  8. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, supplies, and equipment, and initiate the procurement process as needed.

  9. Keep abreast of new developments in maintenance techniques and technologies and make suggestions for process improvements.

  10. Identify cost-saving and energy-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to reduce operational expenses.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training/certification on the U5 machine.

  2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting for a minimum of 7 years

  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their components.

  4. Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues, contractors, and vendors.

  8. Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them rigorously.

  9. Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

  10. High physical stamina and manual dexterity, as the role may involve bending, lifting, and operating machinery.
