Electrical Technician
We are looking for a Electrical Technician to join our Exlar team!
As our Electrical Technician you will assist engineering with a wide variety of tasks related to new product development, simultaneously assisting in production sustaining efforts, and providing automated test support.

Your Challenge
Populating and reworking SMT and through-hole components on circuit boards
Working with production and engineering to evaluate circuit board designs
Initializing and performing electrical tests; documenting results
Assisting with designing, documenting, and maintaining automated test equipment
Creating various documents such as wire harnesses, test procedures, and flow/block diagrams
What You Bring
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Associate’s Degree in electronic theory (with 5+ years’ experience)
Programming experience with LabVIEW
Technical Skills:
Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
Troubleshoot electrical sub-assemblies, harnesses, boards, etc.
Soldering and reworking PCAs with through-hole and surface mount components
Validation testing: circuit level through system level
Designing and building automated test fixtures: board level and system level
Knowledge of various test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, data loggers, etc.)
Experience with crimpers, wire strippers, mechanical hand tools, meters, and gauges
Identify opportunities for improvements during the build process for new and existing assemblies
