The Surgery Dept at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our new tower has provided additional surgery suites with the latest technology, providing patients with a wide range of surgical/procedural experience. Level One Trauma Center 24/7 Operational hours 13 Surgical Suites 1 Cysto Suite 1:1 Nurse Ratio Multi-Specialty Trauma Neuro Robotics Orthopedics General GYN Urology Plastics and Reconstruction. As our surgical tech at CRMC, we highly value your experience in surgical procedures and sterilization. To be successful in this role, you should have 4 years of experience in a similar role, amd a graduate in surgical technology from an accredited school, and a strong understanding of sterilization techniques. You'll be instrumental in preparing the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We recognize that we can't operate without you.

The operating room (OR) operates as a team, and every member plays a crucial role that directly impacts the patient's outcome. As a Surgical Tech, your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with the team are key to taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. Your role is not just important; it's integral to our success. Your expertise in surgical procedures and sterilization directly contributes to the positive outcomes of our patients, making you a valued and indispensable part of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization

  • Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting

  • Adapt to the needs of emergencies

  • Provide clean-up and turnover of the operating room to prepare for the next patient

Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000.

Qualifications

Minimum:

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist

American Heart Association BLS

Preferred

Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience

Pay Range

$29.16 - $42.28 /hour
