iParametrics LLC Construction Manager - Low Voltage/ LSS (Life Safety Systems) in Chandler, Arizona

JOB TITLE: Construction Manager – Low Voltage/LSS (Life Safety Systems) LOCATION: Chandler, Arizona JOB DESCRIPTION iParametrics, is seeking a skilled Low Voltage/LSS Construction Manager to support a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing project in Chandler, AZ. This role involves working closely with design professionals, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address complex electrical coordination issues and lead onsite electrical quality control efforts. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing document reviews from preconstruction through commissioning and punch list.

This semiconductor manufacturing project will require expertise in electrical systems, specifically in low-voltage and life safety systems, to ensure the seamless integration of these critical components. The Construction Manager will play a key role in driving the successful completion of electrical installations and commissioning within this fast-paced and high-tech environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee electrical subcontractor and vendor installation to ensure schedule adherence and support system startup and commissioning activities.

  • Interface with Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to coordinate mechanical and electrical system startups.

  • Verify that all documentation is complete and equipment is construction-ready for safe startup.

  • Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems with civil, architectural, and structural project elements.

  • Organize and facilitate training for the client's personnel in the operation and maintenance of MEP systems.

  • Lead startup meetings involving construction managers, design team members, subcontractors, utility agencies, and the client to coordinate MEP system startups.

  • Review and process project submittals and coordinate multiple submittals to ensure accuracy and functionality of MEP components.

  • Manage requests for information (RFI) and distribute change documents from the project team.

  • Conduct field surveys of control lines and benchmarks.

  • Serve as a technical advisor onsite.

  • Assist with estimating electrical budgets and managing the project’s electrical staffing needs.

  • Secure electrical subcontractors, manage contracts, and oversee contract modifications.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical construction.

  • Experience in industrial and/or high-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects.

  • Familiarity with working in cleanroom environments.

  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Experience with project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6).

  • Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

  • Ability to interpret technical data and construction documents.

  • Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems.

  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various trades and team members.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours or off-shift as construction schedules change.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in live high-tech facilities.

  • LEED Accredited Professional or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.

  • Education or experience in construction methods and materials.

    BENEFITS & COMPENSATION As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is salary, $90,000-130,000, based on experience, background, skills and a 50-hour work week.
