Job Description
Role Summary/ Purpose:
The role will have full oversight for the function. This senior leadership position will be responsible for demand and supply planning, inventory management, S&OP/S&OE process, and all Logistics operations globally. The leader will drive continuous improvement and digitization into the organization, focusing on simplifying and standardizing how PDx execute and deliver to their customers around the world.
Responsible for implementing the highest ethical and compliance standards. Collaborate across the business to manage end-to-end supply chain solutions which optimize inventory and logistic strategy across the global facility network. Leverage technology-enabled optimization, with AI/ML to enable improved performance. Partnering with business leaders and support functions, will lead the S&OP/S&OE processes to ensure alignment of capacity and on-time delivery of materials required to support operations and fulfil customer demand. The role reports directly into the Global Integrated Supply Chain Leader.
The Role & Responsibilities:
Oversight of inventory and logistics operations and cost for the global network. Partner with leadership to optimize inventory holdings at all levels of the sector and drive efficiencies into the organization.
Develop and execute productivity funnel to structurally reduce optimize cost of transportation and warehousing globally for PDx.
Set the strategy and vision, as well as implement S&OP/S&OE processes across PDx global network. Ensure cross-functional resource and capacity alignment between departments. Execute S&OP/S&OE processes to ensure on-time in full delivery for customers.
Define, drive and monitor performance ensuring continuous improvement on KPIs associated with supply chain (ex. inventory management improvement in turns, customer service levels, fill rates and on time delivery, sourcing effectiveness, environmental impact, human error rates, backorder reduction, deviation & CAPA on time closure, logistics costs, production schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, amongst others. etc.)
Develop procedures for maintaining high standards of supply chain operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, as well as customer and corporate quality standards. Actively participate in corporate sustainability and corporate culture initiatives.
Develop and lead an engaged and high-performing team. Provide clear direction and balanced performance feedback; coach, develop, and challenge direct and indirect reports; Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensure compliance with current country, state and local regulations.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with legal standards and corporate social responsibility commitments.
Actively participate and engagement with Global GE Healthcare Centre of Excellence for Supply Chain; Provide leadership for the sector regarding global initiatives for process and technological improvements in conjunction with the COE (ex. Kinaxis implementation).
Represent PDx Supply Chain in several forums, such as Climate Council, Global Inventory DMS, Infinity project leadership, and others.
Collaborate and create a strong bond with Commercial partners on improvements to Forecasting process and accuracy, service-related tactical and strategic decisions, inventory strategy at DCs, new product introductions, portfolio management strategies, and any other relevant activity.
Partner with other SC functional leaders (Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Lean, Quality, etc.) to ensure a healthy collaborative and cross-functional pipeline of activities and projects that ensures customer service, financial results and overall health of the Supply Chain.
Key Challenges:
To transform the supply chain from a push to pull to reduce lead times, reduce inventory levels and increase inventory turns.
To reduce costs across the network without impacting lead times and fulfilment.
To further support the digitization of the supply chain.
Provide the relevant leadership and vision to the function and wider business.
Risk Mitigation: developing strategies to handle disruptions, such as natural disasters, geopolitical issues, and supply shortages.

The ideal candidate will have customer focus with an end-to-end supply chain leadership experience at companies of scale and known for having best-in-class operations. They will also have:
Proven leadership experience from a sophisticated/complex organization recognized for its advanced and flexible supply chain practices.
Have developed and implemented 18-24 months S&OP and 12 weeks rolling S&OE process. Ability to influence senior executives to change to yield financial and non-financials benefits while securing long term supply.
Demonstrated track record of developing supply chain strategy, execution and delivery.
Be an inspirational leader to both teams and key stakeholders to embrace AI/ML demand and supply planning processes.
Successful supply chain transformation experience. A leader who has played a key role in
assessing and transforming a supply chain organization by implementing operational excellence and process improvement initiatives, specifically around Lean, as well as digital transformation and technology enhancements, resulting in improved customer satisfaction at lower cost.
Advanced knowledge of business process, design techniques that encourage a critical look at key processes that focus on optimizing organization performance with reference to world class.
Exceptionally high level of business and financial acumen. Understands the drivers for cost control.
Team builder and leadership developer with a proven ability to attract, develop, motivate, retain and lead a high-performing team of professionals.
Maintains a track record of developing and implementing performance metrics that are correlated with success, while holding a leadership team strictly accountable for results.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Accounting with 15+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience.
Previous experience leading global supply chain and logistics organization is required with experience in both consumers make to stock and customer make to order value streams. Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is a plus.
Deep knowledge and hands on experience with of digital transformation tools and systems, e.g. ERP system implementation (SAP is a huge plus, other ERPs could be considered); experience with other digital tools also required, in the space of receiving, storage, purchasing and transportation.
APICS certification is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and proficiency in supply chain technologies and data analytics.
