Insight Global Senior Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania

Job Description

A large pharmaceutical company is looking for a Senior Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to oversee their data and AI initiatives. This role will report directly into their CTO and is critical in driving the development and growth of analytics across the entire organization.

The role will oversee analytics and reporting, they will have 5 FTEs reporting into them and 20 resources offshore for delivery. This candidate will steer strategic direction of data initiatives and provide actionable insights to fuel business growth and will be responsible for the use of strategic decision data. This leader will balance oversight of technical, quality and delivery aspects within the group. This candidate will need to be technical in nature; willing to roll up their sleeves and do more than just delegate, with a proven background in data modernization efforts and the MS data stack. To maintain this company's data- driven innovation edge this person will have to stay current with new technologies, methods, and industry trends. An ideal candidate will be progressive with an Agile mindset and strong executive presence, who can help evangelize this practice area. A working leader mentality is key , this individual will have to be equally comfortable driving strategic discussions and rolling up their sleeves to conduct analysis themselves.

This is a leadership position so will sit on-site in Chadds Ford, PA and Wilmington, DE. Compensation is between $200k -$300k a year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements

· Prior leadership experience as a Director over data, analytics , or reporting

 · Experience leading teams over data products, data strategy, and data delivery

 · Innovative, creatively minded around data technology

 · Technical background encompassing Data Lake, Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, Data Quality experience

Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills; strong ability to effectively present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences null
