Job Title: Lab Analyst
Job Description
Environmental testing lab is looking to onboard an analyst to support them with analyzing VOC analytical samples and will analyze water, wastewater, soil, sludge samples according to EPA and Standard Methods. Candidate will help maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation (such as GCMS). The candidate will assist other analysts with sample overflow and support backlogs. They will help review data and support QA/QC reporting, and review data for accuracy (check analyst calculations, dilutions, sample prep, etc.). The candidate will also be working with clients to notify them of any compromised analysis. Must be able to work on multiple batches a day and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
