Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Project Control Engineer Specialist (Remote) to join our team! In this role you will develop, implement, and maintain cost control, and/or provide planning/scheduling function on one or more larger projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. May interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and give statistical reports.

  • Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule and budget. Reports status of schedule and budget to appropriate project and Company management as well to the client.

  • Communicates, interfaces, and coordinates with Finance personnel, Project Managers, Accounts Payable personnel, Accounts Receivable personnel, Contracts personnel, DCAA auditors, Human Resources, Management, and other professional staff in a professional and cooperative manner.

  • Presents conclusions and makes recommendations by analyzing facts and conditions, and makes recommendations for corrections or improvements.

  • Understands and applies the provisions and terms and conditions of contracts, Government regulation requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Customizes project control systems and reports to meet specific project requirements.

  • Accumulates and accesses historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent) and 5-8 years of related work experience.

  • Experience in dealing with various types of contracts is mandatory. (e.g., firm-fixed-price, fixed-price with economic price adjustment, fixed-price incentive, cost reimbursement, cost sharing, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and time and material).

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. Deltek CostPoint and/or Unanet desirable.

Salary Range:

$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
