City of Centralia Park Technician I or II in Centralia, Washington

Status: full-time, union Teamsters 252* Salary: $26.31- $31.25/hr.* - Park Technician I - Per contract range 10 (2024 Rates) $27.26- $33.42/hr. - Park Technician II (CDL Required) Per contract range 11 (2024 Rates) (*before $2.60/hr. deferment to Teamsters Pension)

Park Technician I**

General Function: Operates a variety of equipment and performs varied manual work to maintain and repair city buildings, park grounds, facilities, ball fields, cemeteries, and other areas for which the parks department is responsible.

This classification description reflects the general concept and intent of the classification and should not be construed as a detailed statement of all the work requirements that may be inherent in a position.

Education and Experience: High School graduate or G.E.D. and at least two years of general or park maintenance or equipment operation experience is required, or any combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.

Must have a valid Washington State Driver's license acceptable driving record.

Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and Flaggers card.

Employment is conditional on a criminal background check

Park Technician II
