A Medical Clinic in Central Islip, NY is hiring a Call Center Representative to join their team! We are seeking someone with great verbal and written communication skills with an enthusiastic personality that is able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment. We also are looking for someone who is 100% fluent in both English and Spanish, as this role will require you to speak with Spanish-Speaking patients over the phone. Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
Assist patients with scheduling appointments, obtaining referrals, and accessing medical services
Provide information about healthcare services, insurance coverage, and appointment availability
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medical history accurately
Document all interactions and information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to address patient inquiries, concerns, and requests
Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction with services and address any unresolved issues
Collaborate with other call center representatives and team members to ensure efficient operations and workflow
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated on healthcare procedures, policies, and technology
