Insight Global Chemical Engineer in Centerbrook, Connecticut

Job Description

A client in Norwich is looking to hire a Chemical Engineer to ensure completion of projects from method development, experimentation, validation and data analysis stand point. On a daily basis you will collect data, make observations and to propose scientific

conclusions based on data analysis. As well as design and conduct experiments to generate reproducible data with minimal supervision. In this role you will work independently to conduct chemical engineering analysis without

supervision including mass and energy balance.

Extensive knowledge of unit operations such as reaction kinetics, crystallization, and

isolation techniques. You will gather, integrate, and report experimental results. In this role you will work collaboratively to generate tables and figures representing experimental data. Your days will vary from time in the lab (60% of the time typically) to time at your desk (40%) doing data analysis.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (3+ years experience) or MS/PhD degree

in Chemical Engineering (1 + years experience) with strong emphasis in the related

discipline

Extensive knowledge of unit operations such as reaction kinetics, crystallization, and

isolation techniques.

Proficiency with understanding of potency corrected values

Understand sources of experimental error and begin to identify artifacts. Familiarity with software packages (e.g., Aspen, Dynochem, COMSOL, MATLAB,

DesignExpert). null
