Job Description

This position will provide Accounting and Financial Analysis to Transfer Pricing and Tax Management in support of intercompany transactions within the Americas region. In addition, will be responsible for the tracking, administration and invoicing of inter-company costs in accordance with regional and global tax and finance policies. The position will serve as the window-person for the Corporate Division to the Business units to address inquiries around OCA’s inter-company policies and processes.

Job Duties

  • Prepare inter-company invoices relating to service charges within OCA and other affiliates in the United States, which may include interfacing with various product and corporate groups to verify compliance with appropriate time and cost allocation methods.

  • Provide analysis and support to the Sr. Transfer Pricing Analyst in regards to the Sharing of Group Functions (“SGF”) initiative where the creation of global and regional department reports and projects will be generated.

  • Responsible to ensure all expenses are captured and accounted for the transfer pricing monthly close by communicating with business, accounting, and finance groups.

  • Gather costs from SAP and research POs and invoices to support SGF and other tax reporting requirements as needed.

  • Process incoming chargebacks from foreign Olympus affiliates and related to RAQA matters, such as product recalls.

  • Manage creating and obtaining required approvals for wire payments for incoming chargebacks to OCA/OAI.

  • Prepare & upload monthly journal entries for the Tax and Transfer Pricing Department staff.

  • Maintain monthly reconciliation schedules for specific cost centers and accounts to support department initiatives or projects.

  • Proactively provide management with support around the budget and forecast process as needed.

  • Responsible for gathering and collecting intercompany data for surveys where the company is required to disclose to U.S. government agencies.

  • Document policies for inter-company transactions.

  • Prepare and maintain master file that tracks inter-company agreements (soft and hard copies) related to inter-company transactions (royalties, licenses, services, product distribution, etc.).

  • Prepare and maintain master schedule that tracks all inter-company transactions which will be used for tax and transfer pricing documentation. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration is required.

  • PC skills required including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines required.

Preferred :

  • Entry-level or one year of related experience is desired.
