Marketing Coordinator
Description:
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work for a Construction company and support offices across Colorado, Alaska and Washington D.C. by developing high-quality, professional pre-qualification submittals, presentations, and other marketing collateral. Responsible for the day-to-day pursuit schedule management, design, review and production of commercial building, civil and federal pursuits. Must work independently on multiple assignments and manage schedule without regular assistance of supervisor, completing high-quality assignments on time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage the entire proposal development process, including layout, technical and creative writing, content compliance, graphic design, proposal review, and final submission.
Develop proposal win strategy and schedule with operations and preconstruction teams for project pursuits.
Collaborate with operations and managerial staff in the development of effective written qualifications, proposals and other marketing collateral. May write new proposal narratives as needed.
Create proposal templates and infographics, such as tables, charts, maps, etc.
Make accurate and timely edits and revisions to documents after reviews and adjust schedules and plans as required.
Assist in improving the internal proposal development process: archiving files on shared drives, updating and saving design templates, etc.
Track proposal results and debrief on proposal wins/losses.
Aid in creation of marketing collateral for the organization (e.g., newsletters, brochures, award submittals, etc.)
Develop complete, compliant and compelling industry award applications on time.
Schedule, organize and assess professional photography services for project milestones as needed.
Aids in the development of primary and secondary market research.
Plans and coordinates marketing-related events both internal and external.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Preferred qualifications include a postsecondary degree in Journalism, Marketing, English, Communications, or related field.
0-5 years years of experience in a marketing role
Construction or related A/E/C industry is preferred.
Basic Requirements:
Must be over the age of 18 to apply.
A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required, as per company standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and WordPress) is essential and required.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Basic A/E/C industry terminology and procedures and working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) databases.
Deadline Management: Efficiently manage timelines for information gathering, document drafting, and final approvals to meet critical proposal deadlines.
Ability to be flexible, as work deadlines are client-driven and require some extended work hours or work days.
Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Style of writing, with excellent writing and editing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Motivated self-starter dedicated to excellence and proactive problem-solving.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic, committed to achieving accurate and efficient results.
