Ervinas Facilities Management LLC Maintenance Technician in Centennial, Colorado

Overview: As a Maintenance Technician with Ervinas Facilities, you will be responsible for performance of common building repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical work (fixture installation), household appliance repairs, and flooring installation. Essential Responsibilities: Performance of installation, maintenance and repair tasks such as drywall repairs, plumbing repairs, electrical work, appliance maintenance, painting, fence/deck repairs, equipment repairs and other general Work independently or as part of a team as scheduled by the Project Manager. Maintain worksite in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Respond promptly to supervisor requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, change orders, inspections, and inventory. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others. Attend and participate in training programs required by Ervinas. Train and qualify junior personnel. Deliver superior customer service and always represent the company in a professional manner in accordance with Ervinas' Core Values. Perform any other related duties or tasks as required or assigned. Marginal Responsibilities: Wear the Ervinas uniform and maintain professional appearance in accordance with Ervinas policies. Take initiative to expand knowledge and skills through supplemental training and mentorship from senior team members. Deescalate situations involving agitated individuals through effective communication, negotiation, and self-control. Qualifications Education and Experience 0 (MT1) to 10+ (MT5) years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role. [MT5 - specialty training, education, certification and/or licensure required] General knowledge in the use of basic hand and power tools, measurement, and maintenance principles. Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems commensurate with experience. Must demonstrate proper safety and operational skills while using tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable in the operation of laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones. Work Authorization / Security Clearance Requirements Authorized to work in the United States. Must pass pre-employment background screening. Valid driver's license with no more than one violation in the last 12 months. Security Clearance not required. Additional Requirements Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision. Work Environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds unaided. Ability to work in hot, cold and/or inclement weather conditions. Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools. Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to move in small spaces such as crawlspaces and attics. Fine motor skills required to use hand tools or equipment. Hearing proficiency - Average (with or without the use of an aid) Ability to speak, write, and understand English. Near & far visual acuity, with or without vision correction.
