We are looking for a qualified *Electrical Controls Engineer *to join our team.

Electrical Controls Engineer Responsibilities:

The Controls Engineer develops electrical controls systems and designs, PLC/HMI programming, data collection and optimization of control systems.

Support Department engineers with electrical troubleshooting and debugging as needed.

Support plant improvement requests for electrical controls to improve equipment and production.

Support new equipment installation and functionality checks of the safety and control circuits for final equipment signoffs

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, or Robotics) or equivalent engineering experience
  • Must have experience using Autodesk and AutoCAD drafting software to create electrical schematics.
  • Must be able to demonstrate moderate to advanced knowledge of PLC ladder program programming language.
  • Must be familiar with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) modification and design.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Must have strong Analytical skills
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
