CARLSON TOOL & MFG CORP CNC Machinist-Lathe-2nd Shift in CEDARBURG, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We\'re looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our team of approx. 75 skilled machinists in our safe, friendly, and climate-controlled advanced manufacturing facilities. Based in Cedarburg, WI, our team will look to you to support the manufacturing of high-quality parts up to 160\" long and up to 36\" in diameter by creating CNC lathe programs, identifying required tooling, and maintaining accurate inspection documentation. Responsibilities include: Set up, Program and Run CNC Lathes Inspect your own parts Maintain accurate inspection documentation using precision measuring instruments Perform multiple short run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool changes Maintain a safe working environment ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: What you\'ll need to succeed: 3+ years of experience operating CNC Lathe machines is required. Ability to program using Mazatrol is preferred. Knowledge of Mastercam programming is a plus. Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings. Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
