Atlantic Health System Medical Office Associate I- Billing/Data Entry PD in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey

  • Sorting and preparing billing slips for data entry.

  • Entering data into the Practice Management System (Epic) ensuring information is entered accurately and timely.

  • Verifying patient insurance and completion of registration process.

  • Scanning documents into the electronic medical record.

  • Conducting charge capture reconciliations.

  • Review and respond to patient billing inquiries regarding billing concerns.

  • Working knowledge of the insurance industry.

  • Other clerical duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Computer literacy and typing skills required.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Reliability and organizational skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Confidentiality.
