Aerotek Structure Fitter/Welder in Catoosa, Oklahoma
Description:
Week Day: Mon-Thurs, 1st Shift: 6am-3:30am, 2nd Shift: 5:00pm-3:30am
Weekend Shift Fri-Sun: 1st - 5am-5:30pm, 2nd - 5pm-530am
Kelvionis the world's largest heat transfer equipment technology group specializing in energy and thermal technology, as well as process, refrigeration and air treatment industries. Kelvion is in the Port of Catoosa manufactures industrial heat exchangers.
The job requirements are to Lay-out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble the heat exchanger using Mig and Fluxcore. Reading bluerprints for proper fit up and welds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Two years’ structural steel welding experience preferred.
Ability to weld together fabricated parts of structural metal products in shop with Mig welding process; plan sequence of operation.
-Obtain specified electrode and inserts electrode into portable holder or threads consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun; connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by Welding Engineer or Welding Technician and be able to set welding machine wire feed. - Ability to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Examine weld for bead size, overall appearance, and other specifications.
-Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standard is preferred.
- Ability to lift and position components, manually, using overhead or jib cranes.
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without accommodations
