Douglas County Government Recording Technician I in Castle Rock, Colorado

OVERVIEW:

The Recording Technician I is a technical and administrative position responsible for input, retrieval and quality control of permanent land records documents, examination and acceptance of passport applications, and marriage and civil union licenses and applications. The technician supports the citizens, team members, Lead Technician, and management in performance of duties, and adheres to all County policies and procedures, all state laws, and all Federal policies and regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED Certificate is required. One year of experience in a clerical or customer service field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

U.S. Citizen. Sworn as agent of Clerk & Recorder's Office to discharge the duties conveyed by CRS 30-10-406; registered with the Secretary of State. May be required to obtain Passport Acceptance Agent Certification and ma
