Lindsey Donakowski Full-Time Live-In Nanny (Fluent In English And Portuguese) in Castle Rock, Colorado

This posting is to fill the need for a Live-In Nanny who can work 40-45 hours a week caring for our two boys of 5 and 7 years old. Schedule - During the school year (Aug-May) the work schedule will primarily be on weekday mornings and afternoon to evenings. Individual will have to have a valid driver's license for the state of Colorado as they will be transporting the kids to and from school and for various activities outside of school. We will provide a vehicle for this use as well as limited personal use. For Summer break (End of May through beginning of August) this individual will have to watch the kids from morning till about 5pm at the end of the workday for Mom and Dad. Also allowing for some flexibility with the option to switch days or hours for weekends occasionally. We would like this person to commit to at least 2 years with us. Primary Responsibilities - Feeding and prepping boys for school every morning. Making sure they have a packed lunch and snacks. Driving them every day to school and picking them up from school. Taking them to Kumon twice a week. Doing all their school and kumon assignments with them. Getting them bathed and ready for bed in the evenings. Making sure they are practicing their piano every morning. Doing all the kids' laundry to include changing their bed linens and bath towels once a week. Doing all dishes for yourself and kids after each meal. Participating in outdoor type of activities with them, like the park, riding a bike, swimming, sledding, walking or going to the recreational center. Reading books with them. Working on arts and crafts that embrace their creativity. Always making sure they are getting their 3 meals a day with healthy options and snacks. Working with the children learning Portuguese as a second language. Integrating bilingual communication in everyday activities with them. Household Rules - Working with parents to make sure your parental style is the same to not introduce any confusion or unnecessary conflict to the kids or family. Consistency is imperative to keeping a cohesive family orchestration. As a resident of our household, we expect this individual to be a non-smoker. Drugs are not permitted on the premise as well as this individual being under the influence of any substance/drug while under the care of our children. We prefer that there is no one leaving or coming home after 11pm on the weekends and 930/10pm on the weekdays. Guests are allowed but no more than 2-3 at a time and they must be vetted through the parents. There will be no one staying as a guest of the individual, consistently in the home, for extended periods of time being more than 2 days/nights consecutively. If this individual gets into a car accident in our vehicle and it is their fault, they will be fiscally responsible for all damages/repairs to the vehicle. This person must be ready to be an integral part of our family. Open communication is critical to the success of the household arrangement. If person selected accepts position and then decides they don't want to work with us, they will give at least 30 days to find a replacement before leaving and will be cooperative with our family needs including being respectful during that transition period should it be necessary.
