JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate for this position has extensive experience in luxury brands in a Director of IT position and is fluent in French and English. Ideally the candidate has prior experience in leading a hotel opening or major renovation/conversion. You will contribute advanced knowledge and skill in Management Information Services (MIS) technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support cluster and technology objectives. You are responsible for assisting hotel management with MIS technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance as well as performing repairs, installations and maintenance for property-based systems. You will direct the work of hotel or technicians and interfaces with vendors, owners, executive committee and hotel staff. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance you will work closely with all hotel departments.

What we expect from you:

  • Completed vocational training in an IT profession or in the hotel industry

  • First professional experience - ideally in the IT area of the international group hotel industry

  • Expert knowledge in the areas of hardware and software in a predominantly Microsoft Windows-based environment with Active Directory, as well as ideally with the common hotel programs

  • Good knowledge of French and English

  • A positive attitude and open-mindedness

  • Flexibility, solution-oriented action and multitasking skills
