This position works out of our Casa Grande, AZ location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Maintenance Engineering Manager
What you’ll do:
The Maintenance Engineering Manager is responsible for providing Technical Engineering leadership and support, in order to maximize the availability of manufacturing and test equipment and providing an appropriate working environment.
Create and Lead strategy of maintenance and manufacturing engineering for operations excellence and manufacturing equipment reliability.
Plan, implement and manage all major maintenance activities including repair, replacement, inspection, reliability studies, etc .
Manage relevant departmental/project budgets for Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering teams within target and implement CIP/BEx projects as required.
Ensure the activities meet quality requirements of all stakeholders, including customers, auditors and other external agencies by ensuring adherence to the required policies and procedures.
Measures and reports progress against approved timelines.
Acts as an effective project leader or team member in supporting timelines, quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
Ensure prompt attention of the Area Manager in areas of risk, which might have an adverse effect on product and/or safety.
Ensure the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be protective of human health, safety, and the environment.
Create strategy for technical development of internal resources.
Education and experience you’ll bring:
Four year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Relevant experience within maintenance and/or manufacturing engineering environment for minimum of 10 years
Experience managing teams and exempt level associates
Preferred Experience:
Masters degree from relevant discipline
Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt experience
Project Management Certification
TPM Experience
A technical background in health care, nutritional products, laboratory diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
