We have an opening for a Laboratory Test Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and validate testing systems and fixtures.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of testing systems through Uncertainty Measurements.
- Provide Technical Consulting to a staff of Laboratory Technicians.
- Conduct inspection of electronic components using Optical Microscopes and Scanning Electron Microscopes.
- Perform Elemental Analysis using Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS).
- Perform X-ray and CT analysis and inspection.
- Prepare and review test reports.
- Develop and apply Failure Analysis skills to determine failure modes and if possible, root causes of suspect electronic components.
- Uphold the requirements and principles of ISO-17025.

Job Requirements:
- Excellent technical writing skills required; technical writing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Ability to handle extremely small electronic components required.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize multiple tasks required.
- Scanning Electron Microscopy / Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) experience is highly preferred but not required.
- X-Ray / CT Analysis experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong Soldering Skills are preferred.
- Four-year technical degree required, engineering degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Experience with ISO-17025 is highly preferred.
- Experience with Altium Designer and Solidworks is highly preferred.
