UL, LLC Materials Engineer - Wire and Cable in Carugate, Italy
You will support the team with certification of Wire and Cable products ensuring that they are produced and certified in compliance with the relevant Safety Standards.
You will provide general information on UL TIC services along with promoting and explaining the benefits of new and existing services.
You will discuss project scope and specifications such as cost, duration time, sample requirements, test methods, completion date etc.
You will identify and determine client needs, analyze data, product construction, technical issues and explain ULs procedures and requirements to clients.
You will support establishing appropriate test programs in collaboration with our Laboratory Technicians.
You will keep our clients updated on any issues or concerns that might impact or change the project scope or specifications.
Must have:
Technical college degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
Very good command of spoken and written English.
Client-centric, Agile, collaborative, taking pride and striving for excellence.
Nice to have but not a must:
Experience in working at a Wire/Cable manufacturing or testing company.
Technical knowledge of cables construction.
Good command of spoken and written Italian.
