We are looking for R&D Technician (Engineering assistance)
- Job responsibilities are on the wire manufacturing floor and include wire drawing and process development, including the ability to create tools & methods to take a product from the experimental to production state.
- Participating in the planning and analysis of experiments
- Assisting the production department with special projects as needed.
- Technical high school diploma or associate's degree
- 2-3 years of Electronics, Mechanical or Chemical background preferred.
- Previous experience working with metals, machining, and chemical handling preferred.
- The ability to perform occasional heavy physical work, including lifting 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Machine operation background.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Some mechanical skills preferred.
- Self-motivated and mechanically creative
- Attention to detail.
- Some overtime may be required.
