Position Summary
Responsible for assisting accounting supervisor with general processing of mail, checks, invoices, and other office and accounting tasks.
Essential Functions
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Process all incoming/outgoing mail and parcels
Provides excellent customer service to the field units and vendors
Ensure all donations are properly counted and transmitted to the AR Accountants
Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Scan all checks for deposit and donor data center processing
Process payments, scan and upload invoices to Accounts Payable program.
Make bank deposits.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Assist with filing and other office duties
Assist with audit requests
Provide assistance and support for Accounting Supervisor.
Assist field units with essential finance systems training
Any other duties that may be assigned.
Working Conditions
Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Must be able to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on Saturdays and additional hours as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; an AA degree or above is preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years office experience preferred.

A clean driving record and a valid California driver’s license are required.
