Job Title: Aircraft Engine Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Engine Mechanics with GE and CFMI experience. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience working on aircraft engines, and military experience as an engine mechanic is also acceptable. A&P Students who have completed their engine classes are encouraged to apply. Your role will involve engine storage and minor maintenance on aircraft engines, ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations, requirements, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Act in accordance with and meet the requirements of the RSQM, other applicable regulations, and company policies.

  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers in the shop or field.

  • Promote the business to internal and external customers, co-workers, and potential clients with a positive attitude.

  • Interpret and understand OEM technical data, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives, and other specifications to determine maintenance procedures and methods for repairing and/or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

  • Become familiar with aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM) for multiple aircraft and engine configurations.

  • Effectively utilize Quantum Control and JETRAXX systems within six months.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience on aircraft turbine engines.

  • Experience with GE and CFMI engines.

  • Familiarity with FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations.

  • Ability to understand and interpret OEM technical data and maintenance manuals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Military experience as an engine mechanic is accepted.

  • A&P Students who have completed their engine classes are acceptable.

  • Experience with turbine engines such as GENX, GE90, CF6-80c2, leap -1b, leap-1A, pw500 series, cf34-10,-8,-3, pw4000-112,-100,-94, V2500.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large warehouse and engine storage facility. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective utilization of provided technologies and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
