Primary Purpose

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Develop, manage, and evaluate the Statewide Coordinator (SWC) and Gas Delivery Companies (GDC) transfers process to support Atlantic City Electric’s energy efficiency programs. Develop business plans, project charters, and performance metrics in support of business objectives. Ensure organizational alignment with management models and principles and drive the integration of best practices. Perform various assignments including requests for financial and operational reports, data analysis and modeling, business planning, and/or performance measurement. Coordinate quality assurance and/or change management activities with internal and external personnel.

Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Primary Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of the Statewide Coordinator (SWC) and Gas Delivery Companies (GDC) transfers process to support Atlantic City Electric’s energy efficiency programs. Provide requirements analysis, performance measurement, and quality assurance. Manage scope, schedule, and budget for process.

  • Coordinate and report on process. Develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to monitor and report results. Prepare, review, and analyze reports, controls, and other financial & operational information for process.

  • Coordinate work plans to implement corrective actions that are identified as a result of performance assessment.

  • Support process coordination across multiple areas / departments. Coordinate with stakeholders on the review and execution of deliverables. Coordinating with Energy Efficiency Team and other internal departments to verify invoices and ensure invoiced measures and savings are accurately represented and tracked in the SWC system. ​

  • Use Excel and SharePoint skillset to actively manage ACE's responsibilities on the SWC SharePoint site​. Manage ticket process, working with Energy Efficiency team to address technical system issues.

  • Track Company’s performance relative to the programs and provide recommendations on goals and performance indicators to improve performance.

  • Represent Atlantic City Electric in coordination meetings with external stakeholders. Deliver ACE's position and status related to relevant topics and SWC systems issues, invoicing, and payments. Maintain relevant action item log and tracking task completion/updates. Report out and coordinate with Energy Efficiency team and portfolio management team as needed.​

JOB SCOPE

  • This is an individual contributor position that works independently with only general direction, relying on knowledge skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. The position regularly mentors less experienced colleagues.

  • Direct impact on budget is substantial – This position has a direct impact on the Company’s performance regarding its energy efficiency programs – by managing scope, budget and schedule to within approved parameters, and providing structured and detailed reports to the appropriate Management team. Drives the development of key processes to ensure complete and successful implementation. Develops and tracks key milestones.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or S.T.E.M. field with 4-7 years of related business experience OR in lieu of bachelor's degree, 6-9 years of related business experience.

  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e.g., electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs).

  • Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, & PowerPoint), and relevant specialized business applications (e.g., project portfolio management, requirements/test management, CIS/CRM, customer self-service, telephony, EPS, EAM, work management, & outage management) to support business needs.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to create value with strong problem solving, analytical/financial, negotiation, and conflict management skills and a willingness to accept increased responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, meet critical deadlines, communicate effectively, and accept accountability of multiple tasks.

  • Customer driven with demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with people of all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including new technology

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master's degree in a business or S.T.E.M. field.

  • Certification as: Certified Associate in Project Mgmt (CAPM) OR Project Management Professional (PMP) OR Six Sigma Black Belt

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $86,400.00/Yr. - USD $129,600.00/Yr.
