Dignity Health Cardiology NP or PA in Carmichael, California
Overview
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient Cardiology team. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Our clinicians service patients throughout Sacramento at Dignity Health Medical Foundation’s Mercy Medical Group locations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient clinical care to established patients, monitoring and supervising stress tests and Holter monitors, diagnostics ordering and interpretation, patient education and follow-up, and responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues. This opportunity is full-time with no call requirement, no nights, and no weekends.
Compensation Range: $134,014 - $176,924 / Year

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests as needed
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Pay Range
$64.42 - $85.05 /hour
