General Trading Co. Inc. Human Resources Data Entry Clerk in Carlstadt, New Jersey

DESCRIPTION: The HR Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties in the Human Resources and Warehouse Departments. The duties include, but not limited to, tracking the time and attendance, productivity, and drafting warnings.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Verify and track employee attendance

  • Utilize ADP daily for attendance documentation

  • Utilize time card system (Novatime) to ensure employee punches are correct

  • Run weekly reports to track attendance

  • Run daily reports to report OT

  • Receiving calls and messages of employees calling out or late

  • Draft warnings as necessary

  • Assist new hires with on boarding process (ADP); coordinate new hire orientation and all training paperwork

  • Manage the Vocollect system: process new hires and terms- Grant/Remove accesses for warehouse employees

  • Weekly data entry: running reports, compiling and entering data

  • Track employee production and draft warnings as necessary; ensure all warnings are signed and returned timely. Escalate any issues to management when necessary.

  • Identify reoccurring issues and collaborate with the HR team to resolve

  • Be point of contact for warehouse employees

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma is required.

  • 1 to 3 years admin experience

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel

  • Efficient, organized, flexible and dependable

  • Bilingual English Spanish Required

  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus
