Want to earn $18-24 an hour for Test Technician work? Adecco is currently assisting a client in recruiting for a Test Technician in Carlsbad, CA. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
The primary responsibility of the Test Technician is to ensure all test processes are set-up, operating and monitored, initial troubleshooting and analysis of problems encountered during product assembly and of products returned from the field due to defects, assist in developing test process procedures, perform routine to advance maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot test processes to determine root cause of defects and improve yields.
Provides technical assistance to technicians and assemblers.
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, pick lists, Bills of Materials, and other engineering documents.
Work with Test Engineer to identify and implement process improvements.
Contribute to instruction guides and technical manuals for repairing, calibrating, and maintaining completed unit or system.
Aids in establishing testing methods for electronic devices, mechanisms, and systems.
Ensure all processes are set-up and operating.
Assist in all new process set-ups and changes.
Assist Test Engineer in documenting and resolving external customer corrective action requests.
Identifying design and manufacturing issues causing product defects.
Gathering input on process and quality requirements.
Assist Test Engineer in the development of monthly quality summary reports.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience working with RF, digital and/or analog circuit troubleshooting experience
Ability to read assembly drawings and/or work instructions.
Proficient with Windows operating system and Office for Windows.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
