ManpowerGroup Shipping Operator in Carlsbad, California

Our client in the shipping industry is seeking a Shipping Operator to join their team. As a Shipping Operator, you will be part of the shipping department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Shipping Operator

Location: Carlsbad, CA

What's the Job?

  • Load and package finished goods for shipment

  • Review logistics paperwork, bill of ladings and interpret data to identify and address abnormal conditions

  • Maintain manufacturing Kan Bans and monitor satellite warehouses and docks for adherence to site required continuous Improvement and housekeeping requirements

  • Communicate with other departments and personnel in a professional and courteous manner

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and drums dollies

What's Needed?

  • 1-3 years of shipping experience

  • Knowledge of domestic shipping of hazardous materials and non-hazardous material

  • High School or GED

  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software including Word, Excel, and Outlook, SAP functions experience preferred

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a safe working environment and meeting all quality requirements
