Job Description

The Hotel Food and Beverage Purchasing Supervisor role is to properly maintain stock levels, manage cost of goods and adhere to food safety procedures. Responsible for receiving products, PAR edits, COG?s management, and daily setup and clear down of the back of house restaurant operation. Supports and assists the management team in the daily operation of the assigned unit(s) while responsible for the delegation and supervision of receivers to maintain health & safety standards of food product.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position ranges from $23/hr to $26.50/hr, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. ?

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors. ?

Job Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Aramark Food Safety Policy, ensure all perishable food is stored properly and execute proper FIFO method.

  • Daily walk through of facility to identify, overstock, damage product or items that need to be discarded.

  • Identify all potential hazards and immediately report to upper management.

  • Scheduling and labor management of receivers, vacation denial/approvals and payroll.

  • Daily walk through with receivers and follow up on tasks not completed, re-training and or additional assignments and ensure that receivers are following the task method associated with their assignments.

  • Follow best housekeeping practices when maintaining the upkeep of all storage location, walk in refers, freezers and workspaces and back areas. Reporting of needed repairs and verification of cooler temperature functionality.

  • Daily/ Regular communication with Back and Front of the house regarding PAR levels, dead stock and new stock items, product usage, shortages, and daily needs.

  • Create and update ordering forms as well as purchasing methods of all vendors.

  • Place orders according to vendor deadlines, minimum quantities, lead times and availabilities and schedules

  • Communicates vendor substitute items, availability, and pricing changes with F&B management leadership.

  • Maintenance of weekly COG reports.

  • Upkeep and editing of Yellow Dog inventory tracking system data input.

  • Work with Finance Department regarding outstanding invoices, discrepancies, and financial accountabilities for F&B areas

  • Participate in End of Month (EOM) inventory process and periodic cycle counts as required to include counts, adjustments, and data input.

Qualifications

? Prior administrative experience preferred

? The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

? Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

? Requires frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
