Job Title: Associate Scientist I - R&D
Job Description
As an Associate Scientist in our Cell Therapy Innovation team, you will be instrumental in developing innovative cell therapy manufacturing systems that will enable the development of future therapies. You will conduct cell activation, transduction, proliferation, cytotoxicity, and signaling assays, and participate in the development of new analytical methods for human T/NK/iPSC cell therapy. You will also work under associate scientist to drive innovation through the development of novel analytical methods to understand biomarkers and cell product attributes.
Hard Skills
Proficiency in cell therapy QC assay design and execution
Experience with bioprocess development for cell therapy preferred
Experience with analytical techniques
Experience in molecular and cell biology
Hands-on experience with assay development
Working experience in process development or manufacturing setting is highly desired
Experience across the range of cell therapy QC and release assays required for pre-clinical and clinical cell therapies is preferred

Ability to work independently and prioritize work across multiple projects

Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Week.
Work Environment
You will be working in a laboratory environment, which requires lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for long periods of time while performing duties. You must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
