Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers? We're searching for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad and play a pivotal role in managing our payables process. If you have experience in accounts payable and are ready to take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment, then we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure proper approval and documentation.
Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
Experience with 3-way matching and purchase order processing preferred.
