UNUM IT Delivery Manager in Carlow, Ireland

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead an Agile team and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in technical team leadership, people management or scrum team leadership with a strong passion for technology. This opportunity has extensive growth plans with scope to develop and scale a best-in-class digital transformation project.
The Role
Lead & manage a Delivery team of software engineers, testers & business analysts (working with technologies such as .Net, MuleSoft, Salesforce, Mainframe & internal legacy application)
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Drive the team's adherence to Agile development methodologies.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Mentor and guide the development team, promoting a culture of excellence.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering
Partner with the product management & Design teams to align on business requirements.
What You Offer
6+ years of experience in software engineering environment
2+ years of experience leading and managing Agile software development projects.
Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Excellent leadership, technical project management, and mentorship skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience leading MuleSoft (or similar) Integration teams a distinct advantage.
