Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Sr. Analyst, Business Analytics in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

The Sr. Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing and managing reports for sales, market share and profitability, while engaging with CCM's leadership team and other internal/external stakeholders. This position collaborates extensively with multiple functional areas to deliver proactive and recurring sales & financial analyses while facilitating the enhancement of reporting processes, platforms, and overall visibility into business performance insights.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own sales, pricing, and profitability reporting & analysis for leadership
  • Proactively analyze & report trends/performance by region, product, and customer
  • Manage sales channel processes and initiatives such as territory development plans
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting for Sales and Marketing
  • Support analysis needs for annual and strategic improvement projects and business initiatives
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc slides and presentations in support of numerous meetings and events
  • Interface with external agencies to maintain company/ industry data and report trends/insights to business leaders
  • Support monthly forecast consolidation process
  • Develop strong partnerships with sales leadership to facilitate intimate understanding of the business that yields value add analysis
  • Partner closely with IT function ensuring complimentary efforts in delivering efficient access to and consumption of data throughout the organization

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience in sales/margin reporting and Power BI dashboard utilization across areas such as Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance
  • Strong Sales & Finance functional knowledge and business acumen
  • Ability to distill key themes from analyses and clearly communicate findings to leadership
  • Ability to identify trends and document/track opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to tailor communication to all levels in the organization
  • Able to effectively manage multiple deliverables with appropriate prioritization
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., array formulas, pivot & data tables) to mine transactional data

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Business (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing) or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business or Financial Analyst, or equivalent role.
