Amazon Seller Growth Manager, 3P Marketplace in Cape Town, South Africa

We are looking for a talented Seller Growth Manager with a marketing mindset to own seller communication channels and drive initiatives that set sellers up for success on Amazon. You will partner with business and operations teams to drive new initiatives aimed at improving, automating, or streamlining processes that drive seller growth at scale.

The right candidate will have a marketing background and experience leading large projects. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to build roadmaps and execute initiatives to achieve business goals.

  • Partner with teams to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery.

  • Gather and analyse data to uncover opportunities to drive seller growth on Amazon.

  • Set up performance management mechanisms and track selling partner performance on a day to day basis.

  • Write reports/documents that detail the progress to leadership on a frequent basis, influencing strategy.

  • Improve, streamline, or eliminate excess processes, playbooks, or team tools.

  • Operate autonomously; clear blockers and escalate appropriately.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Cape Town, ZAF

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level

  • SQL experience

  • Marketing or CRM experience

  • Program or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL advanced skills

  • E-commerce experience
