Sr. Technical Resource Specialist - Intel Operations Support Location - Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL

Job Summary:

ZelTech is seeking a Sr. Technical Resource Specialist-Intel Operations Support candidate toprovide on-site operations technical resource support at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. This position will travel up to 25% and temporary duty may be required to locations worldwide. This candidate will serve as a technical resource specialist while performing, planning and coordinating the upkeep, maintenance, and logistical movement of remote sensors, payloads, platforms and associated equipment used for operations and mission support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support of project activities and status reporting to synchronize and enhance asset and resource mission readiness.
  • Provide technical advice and project status reporting to government leadership.
  • Specialized work that requires the interpretation and application of concepts, theories, judgment and an in-depth understanding of Government logistics processes and systems.
  • Technical resources property management; inventory, track, ship, MHE and DRMO.
  • Manage and maintain inventories of vessels, sensors and other durable equipment acquired and ensure proper disposition of any obsolete equipment.
  • Provide support in planning, coordinating, logistics, operator training and general execution of tests, evaluations, exercises, training and operational fielding.
  • Provide support for fleet management of government GSA and DLA assets.
  • Data transfer from unclassified to classified information systems.
  • Manage ad hoc test support projects, including field support and movement and liaisons with stakeholders in support of project assignments.
  • Perform hands on support to all aspects of Cape operations as assigned.
  • Comply with and facilitate industry hygiene and safety standards and requirements in the workplace.
  • Identify equipment and sensor deficiencies. Modify and implement scheduled maintenance plans.
  • Support both execution and management of technical projects.
  • Documenting and displaying project plans and details to team members and project officers.
  • Provides schedule tracking and status reports of all project activities to leadership.
  • Tracking and reporting of travel funds.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Twenty-five (25) or more years of directly related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI-Poly or Full Scope poly.
  • Active US passport or obtain.
  • Must be a legal US citizen.
  • Time management skills
  • Experience with Single Mobility System and Integrated Global Convergence programs.
  • Experience working with Government Information Systems and management of government property and resources.
  • Previous experience working as a Data Transfer Officer for classifies information systems.
  • Experience as Approving Officer (AO) for Defense Travel Service (DTS).
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, management, or members of the business community.
  • Present relevant factors (both verbal and written) so that technical information is understood by non-technical end users.
  • Interpersonal and communicationskills.
  • Works well independently or as part of a group.
  • Multitasking skills
  • Provide support on special projects as needed
  • Background/credit check and drug screening.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher with twenty (20) or more years of directly related experience.
  • Previous military air transportation experience.
  • Knowledge of standard DoD acquisition regulations, practices and procedures.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Experience in Risk Management processes.
  • Writing skills, as there may be a require ent to write reports.
