ASRC Federal Holding Company Manager, Quality Assurance in Cape Canaveral, Florida

Job Summary : Develops, implements, and manages quality assurance systems to ensure all internally developed systems, products and services meet company standards and customer requirements. Developes, implements and manages safety and quality programs to ensure compliance with company requirements and Space Force policies and regulations. Develops, implements and manages metrics development, performance measurement, corrective action and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain continuity of all operations within Safety and Quality Department.

  • Oversees/manages daily activities of contract safety, occupational health, quality, and risk management programs.

  • Ensures integration of all Safety & Quality activities within the CLOIS III contract.

  • Conduct audits and surveillance for quality and safety aspects, evaluate data to draw conclusions, make decisions, and recommend changes in contract procedures and practices.

  • Prepare and validate Maximo Reports to create accurate Monthly Performance Summaries.

  • Participate in customer meetings; identify, offer and implement contract performance improvements including process improvements, root cause analysis, measures/metrics, etc.

  • Manage the Quality Witness Program for weight handling equipment and rigging proof testing.

  • Manage the document control process.

  • Manage the Occupational Health and Safety Program to ensure compliance with OSHA, Space Force and other applicable safety regulations and standards.

  • Conduct safety program audits and physical inspections of all CLOIS facilities, ensuring all safety deficiencies are documented and tracked until closure.

  • Participate in preparation, ride-out, and recovery actions following natural disasters, support hurricane preparations and recovery activities.

Requirements :

Educational/Training Requirements : Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or Business Field plus five (5) to ten (10) years related experience including demonstrated management ability and experience with ISO9001:2015 & AS9100:2018 standards. Advanced knowledge of OSHA Health and Safety regulations required. Experience working with Government auditors and ISO Auditor certification preferred.

Skill Requirements/Qualifications :

  • Supervision and management of staff employees

  • Project Management including reports and presentations

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

  • Experience with data gathering, analysis, corrective actions and reporting

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Skilled in hazard recognition and mitigation methods

  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain & maintain a Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required for obtaining a clearance.

  • Current valid FL driver license required

Work Environment : Mostly office environment. Some work outdoors in an industrial environment where various industrial hazards are present. Motor vehicle driving required between work sites.

This is an on-site position.

Physical Demands : Walking, standing, sitting for extended periods, minimal lifting of materials/supplies. Must be able to climb stairs to access work office. Able to wear various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in industrial areas.
