At Home Healthcare RN Branch Manager in Canton, Texas

We are looking for an exceptional RN to manager the daily functions and provide support to our clinical staff in our adult care office.

Under indirect supervision, prioritizes, organizes and manages operational functions of a Branch Office including administrative and budget management and problem negotiation/resolution and effective use of resources.

*1. Maintains compliance with all At Home Healthcare policies, procedures, and government regulations, including all state and federal laws.

*2. Demonstrates working knowledge of state and governmental regulations and intermediary guidelines affecting the Agency and its’ patients and clients.

*3. Understands and adheres to continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.

*4. Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations of At Home Healthcare by employees. Maintains adequate, qualified staff to provide safe, professional, and quality health care to clients.

*5. Participates in legal and regulatory surveys; communicates accurate information for surveys, and prepares appropriate plan of action for Agency branch as necessary.

*6. Demonstrates current and up-to-date knowledge of all state and federal governmental regulations and intermediary guidelines.

*7. Accurately monitors patient schedules daily; assess effectiveness and make adjustments as required.

*8. Provides effective management to staff; enhance managerial effectiveness by reading related materials, attending all seminars and office training as required, and networking with other Administrators/managers.

*9. Daily review and accurate processing of mail and other correspondence. *10. Supervise, monitor, evaluate and provide direction to direct reports. Provide

professional growth and development; develop and communicate annual goals and objectives; monitor and provide constructive feedback; conduct annual performance evaluations, and provide training.

*11. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling, and terminations of assigned positions.

*12. Coordinates all in-service training, orientation, and performance evaluations for staff, and communicates schedules to staff as appropriate.

*13. Manages budget within approved guidelines. Operates within approved guidelines to execute plans, policies and budgets. Monitors and appropriately controls financial expenses.

*14. Participates and assist in cross training efforts to allow flexibility in facilitating workflow.

*15. Completes accurate and timely documentation.

*16. Maintains effective professional communication with physicians, staff, patients, clients, and family members to coordinate care and problem resolution of disputes. Evaluates satisfaction of these referral sources on an ongoing basis.

*17. Participates in community activities to create a positive visibility for the Agency. Answers any inquiries from the community regarding the Agency and its services.

Management experience healthcare required preferrably home health. Must be a licensed RN with the ability to work effectively under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change; and effectively communicate professionally orally and in writing and speak in front of groups. Excellent professional public presentation skills required. Requires ability to work effectively under minimal supervision; exercise excellent, sound professional judgment and maintain confidentiality
